How It Works
Planning a trip should feel exciting — not overwhelming. My role is to take your ideas, preferences, and priorities and turn them into a thoughtful, well‑paced journey that feels effortless from start to finish.
Below is exactly what working together looks like, step by step.
Step 1: Submit a Trip Request
You’ll start by filling out a short trip request form. This gives me the foundation I need to begin planning.
I’ll ask about:
- Travel dates and flexibility
- Destinations you’re interested in
- Budget range
- Who’s traveling
- Travel style (independent, lightly guided, or fully guided)
This isn’t a commitment — it’s simply the starting point so I can understand what you’re looking for.
Step 2: We Talk Through the Vision
Once I review your request, we’ll discuss your trip in more detail. This can happen over email or a consultation call, depending on the trip.
During this step, we’ll clarify:
- What kind of experience you want (cultural, relaxed, food‑focused, adventurous, etc.)
- Your pace — slower and immersive or full and active
- What matters most to you (comfort, flexibility, support, special experiences)
This is where your trip really starts to take shape.
Step 3: Choose Your Level of On‑the‑Ground Support
Not every traveler wants the same level of assistance while traveling. I offer different planning styles so your trip feels right for you.
Fully Planned & Booked — Independent Travel
Everything is arranged in advance, but you explore on your own.
- Hotels, transportation, and tickets booked ahead of time
- Clear guidance on timing, logistics, and expectations
- No guides or escorts during the trip
Best for travelers who want freedom with zero planning stress.
Mostly Independent with Some Guided Support
A balance of independence and reassurance.
- Fully planned itinerary
- Guided support on key days (arrival, major sights, or day trips)
- Free time built in to explore independently
Best for travelers who want support without feeling like they’re on a tour.
Fully Guided / Escorted Travel
Hands‑off travel with support throughout.
- Complete itinerary planning
- Guides and/or drivers assisting daily
- Transportation and logistics handled for you
Best for complex trips, first‑time destinations, or travelers who want everything managed.
Step 4: I Design Your Itinerary
Using everything you’ve shared, I create a personalized itinerary tailored specifically to you.
This includes:
- A thoughtfully paced, day‑by‑day plan
- Hotel recommendations based on location and style
- Transportation planning (flights, trains, transfers where needed)
- Key experiences and activities
- Guidance on what’s worth booking and what’s best left flexible
Every itinerary is custom — no templates, no copy‑and‑paste trips.
Step 5: Booking & Confirmation
Once you approve the itinerary, I take care of all bookings and confirmations.
This may include:
- Hotels
- Transportation
- Tours and experiences
- Transfers and logistics
You’ll receive a clear, organized itinerary with all important details before departure including tips and basic information about your destination.
Step 6: Support Before & During Travel
I don’t disappear once your trip is booked.
Before departure:
- Final checks and confirmations
- Travel tips and reminders
- Help with last‑minute questions
During travel:
- Support if plans change or issues arise
- Assistance coordinating with local partners when needed
If your itinerary includes guided or escorted support, local partners will be available on the ground to assist with logistics and handle issues in real time — from schedule changes to transportation adjustments — so everything continues smoothly.
You travel knowing someone is there if something comes up.
Not Sure What You Need?
That’s completely okay. Most clients aren’t.
I’ll help guide you toward the planning style and level of support that makes the most sense for your trip, budget, and comfort level.
When you’re ready, you can start by submitting a trip request — and we’ll take it from there.
